How to Advertise a Rental Property in Chandler, AZ | Renting Quickly Part 3

Renting out properties quickly to good tenants is a great way to maximize what you earn on your investment. We are often asked how we manage to rent our properties out so quickly. There is a multi-faceted approach that we have to leasing, and we’re sharing some of those tips in this four part blog series. This is part three, in which we will discuss advertising and marketing your property.

Online Advertising Sites

Marketing is obviously important because it shares information about your property to the general public so you can find a tenant. We place your property on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), so that any real estate agent has access to your listing and can show their clients your home. We also place it on the websites popular with people looking for rentals. These will include Trulia.com, Zillow.com, Homes.com, and Rentals.com. We found that many people like to look at available properties online and select a few that they would like to see. If they are working with a real estate agent, they will let them know what they want to see. If they aren’t working with an agent, they can contact us directly through the listing.

Marketing Photos and Descriptions

All of our marketing has plenty of photos, and it’s also important to have a good set of marketing copy for your property. That’s a description of your property which ultimately entices people to come see your home. Pictures can sometimes look the same from property to property. If you have a solid description that’s like a commercial, you’ll get people to see it and it will get rented faster.
